Hi, I’m Lisa Keeling — I’m a writer, storyteller, and creator — someone who builds worlds, shapes characters, and brings new ideas into form. My strength has always been intuition. I feel my way into a narrative. I sense what a character is hiding, what a moment needs, and where the emotional weight should land. That instinct is what guides every book I write.
My fiction leans into atmosphere, tension, and the quiet psychology that lives underneath people’s choices. I love crafting stories that pull you in and make you forget you’re reading. Stories that feel lived‑in. Stories that stay with you.
I also write children’s books, and those come from a different but very important place. They’re rooted in unconditional love — the kind of steady, grounded love kids deserve as they learn who they are. Not enabling, not overprotecting, just giving them a foundation strong enough to grow from. Those books are my way of helping children build confidence, kindness, and emotional clarity early on.
Whether I’m writing a twisty, moody novel or a gentle story for kids, the heart of my work is the same: I create from intuition, emotion, and a deep love for the worlds I build.
I live in Florida with my husband, John, where I’m happily retired when I’m not writing. Most days you’ll find me loving on my three dogs — especially my constant sidekick, Zuzu.

Ashton Falls
A psychological murder mystery: Six college friends. One autumn weekend. A trip that changes everything. Now in their late 40s, a tight-knit group of women reunites in the Finger Lakes for wine, laughter, and a much-needed escape. Their lakeside getaway promises cozy comfort, scenic views, and a chance to reconnect. But as the wine flows, so do the secrets. Old tensions resurface. New betrayals take root. And by the end of the weekend, one of them won’t be going home alive. Set in the crisp, golden beauty of Ashton Falls, this suspenseful novel explores friendship, loyalty, and the quiet unraveling of a group that once felt unbreakable.
